Green Bucks at Riva Grill

The Tahoe Fund is a non profit organization that improves the extraordinary natural environment of the Lake Tahoe Basin by building broad support and funding for projects and programs that restore and enhance the Lake for the enjoyment of current and future generations. Here at Riva Grill, we are proud to be a part of the Green Bucks program, a donation based program that contributes to hiking and biking trails, watershed restoration projects, wildlife protection and environment stewardship programs. By adding a donation line on every payment that is processed on a credit carde, our generous guests have donated one dollar at a time to contribute to the overall well-being of this place we call home. Thank you for everyone that has supported Riva Grill as well as the Tahoe Fund through the Green Bucks program, this has really been a great example of how the smallest effort can add up to make a huge difference. We are very excited to announce our 18th Annual Crab & Chowder Gala on November 11, 2023.
As a 501 c 3 nonprofit, we rely on revenue from our year-round rentals and fundraising events to be able to maintain, update and beautify our facility for the thousands of people that utilize it each year. We also rely on the generosity of our community partners to help make these events a huge success, enabling us to keep moving forward. We couldn’t do it without your generosity and support.

Please consider making a donation to be used for our raffle or silent auction at this event to help generate revenue and excitement. By supporting the El Dorado County Fair you are indirectly supporting many of the nonprofits in our area, such as the Boys & Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, M.O.R.E. (Mother Lode Rehabilitation Enterprises, Inc), the Women’s Fund, and many more.

The El Dorado County Fair & Event Center in Placerville is a large part of our community. We are dedicated to maintaining a vital year-round facility benefiting the people of El Dorado County, today and tomorrow. We are currently the preferred location for Fire Camp, utilized by both CalFire and the US Forest Service, allowing them to create a large Incident Command Post when wildfires occur.
