I am the Earth And the Earth is me. Each blade of grass, Each honey tree, Each bit of mud, And stick and stone Is blood and muscle, Skin and bone.
And just as I Need every bit Of me to make My body fit, So Earth needs Grass and stone and tree And things that grow here Naturally. That’s why we Celebrate this day. That’s why across The world we say: As long as life, As dear, as free, I am the Earth And the Earth is me. Earth Day by Jane Yolen

Anyone who has experienced 4th of July or Labor Day fireworks show in South Lake Tahoe knows that the magic is infectious; it is an experience not to miss. The lawsuit against the Lake Tahoe Visitors Association to no longer allow the fireworks show was a devastating thought. The fear crept on locals and tourists alike that the beloved show would soon become a distant memory, however, the lawsuit filed by the Truxler family was settled this week and furthermore set off fireworks in the hearts of those who love and look forward to the show year after year. We could not be more thrilled and cannot wait to celebrate America's independence with starry eyes and a Wet Woody in hand!
